What Couples Therapy With Me Looks Like
My role is active and collaborative. I may help you identify what is happening beneath defensiveness, anger, or withdrawal; practice having a different kind of conversation in the room; and develop practical ways to interrupt familiar patterns outside of therapy.
In our sessions, I help you slow down difficult conversations, recognize the cycle that keeps pulling you into conflict, and begin communicating in ways your partner can more readily understand.
The goal is not to decide who is right. It is to help you understand what is happening between you and determine what a healthier, more connected relationship could look like.
Ready to begin a conversation?
Schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation to talk about whatβs happening and whether we might be a good fit.
