About Sarah
In 2018, I established The Interrelate Project, a platform dedicated to facilitating dialogues on relational dynamics through my podcast, featuring conversations with esteemed relationship experts. Evolving from its inception, The Interrelate Project has blossomed into a consultancy where I support individuals, couples, and families navigating a spectrum of relationship challenges—from transitions like breakups and divorce to the nuances of online dating, remarriage, and blended families. My dedication to relationships also includes supporting individuals and families grappling with the complexities and challenges of addiction and substance abuse.
My 2022 book, “How to Change Your Life,” draws from my own personal journey of transformation following the end of a decade-long marriage at the age of 30. This manual for personal growth offers pragmatic strategies to embark on a transformative journey, addressing the multifaceted aspects of change with actionable insights gleaned from my own lived experiences.
I have an M.A. in Marriage & Family Therapy from Syracuse University, an M.A. in English Literature & Gender Studies from the University of Maine, and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Maine. My training also includes Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and certification as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I am practicing with a Limited Permit in Marriage & Family Therapy in New York State, which authorizes clinical work under supervision as part of licensure requirements.
My dedication to empowering individuals in their relationships is further reflected in my contributions to publications like mindbodygreen, Career Contessa, Apartment Therapy, and The Kitchn, among others.
